Hi I'm Ryan! I'm a research scientist at the NVIDIA GEAR Lab and an incoming PhD student at Stanford University. I completed my undergrad at Georgia Tech, where I was advised by Prof. Danfei Xu and Prof. Judy Hoffman. I am currently interested in studying scalable approaches for generalization in large robot foundation models. Most recently, I have been working on enabling different types of transfer from egocentric human data.

July 2026 EgoVerse was presented at RSS 2026.
June 2026 I started full-time as a Research Scientist at the NVIDIA GEAR Lab.
Mar 2026 We publicly released EgoVerse, our large-scale egocentric human dataset for robot learning from around the world.
Feb 2026 I started my research internship at the NVIDIA GEAR Lab.
Jan 2026 I was fortunate to have received Runners Up for the CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award.
Sept 2025 Our work, EgoBridge was accepted to NeurIPS 2025 and was nominated for Best Paper Finalist at the H2R Workshop at CoRL 2025.
Sept 2025 Received my third President's Undergraduate Research Award (PURA) for my research in robotics.
Aug 2025 We publicly released EMMA, our recent endeavour in scaling mobile manipulation through egocentric human video.
Feb 2025 Our work, EgoMimic, was showcased in a Meta AI blog post highlighting its role in embodied AI with Project Aria and Ego4D.
Oct 2024 Our paper, EgoMimic was showcased at the LFDM and X-Embodiment Workshops at CoRL 2024.
